Web Designing
Every business today needs a website. We craft web–based solutions to meet the needs and aspirations of each client. Covering a wide range of industry verticals in static single–user websites, we also have provided customized process–management solutions for educational institutions as well as member–restricted access and dynamic (CMS–based) sites for social networks and clubs.
We offer free consultations to help clients understand their own expectations from a website – to analyze why they need one and of what type. We ask questions about the nature of the business, the type of promotions and campaigns they will use it for and accordingly work out a reasonable quote for the designing and development, hosting and maintenance of their website.
The level of complexity of the site varies; but even for the simplest site, we try to enable it with the latest technology; such as Responsive Designing and Retina Ready Technology.
Responsive Design
Responsive Web Designing (RWD) is the answer to one of the present world’s most obvious needs – the need to provide an optimal viewing experience on a range of devices, from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones! Easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling – enhance the viewer’s experience of the site.
A site designed with RWD adapts the layout to the viewing environment by using fluid, proportion–based grids, flexible images, and CSS3 media queries. The fluid grid concept ensures better page re–sizing, by using the sizing element in relative units like percentages, rather than absolute units like pixels or points. Flexible images are also sized in relative units, to prevent them from displaying outside their containing element. Media queries allow the page to use different CSS style rules based on characteristics of the device the site is being displayed on, most commonly the width of the browser.
We therefore strongly recommend that any new website being developed should be designed with RWD technology – for optimum benefits to the client’s business and to justify the investment in the website.
Retina Ready
This phrase coined by Apple, in simple terms, means that the images are seen at a resolution of 960x 640 pixels – or 220 pixels per inch (PPI), as against older monitors with 72 PPI. At this resolution, at an optimal viewing distance, the human eye struggles to distinguish individual pixels, thereby resulting in sharper images. Basically Retina–ready technology uses higher–resolution (more pixels per square inch) to display sharper images and brighter, more vivid colours.
It is also possible to upgrade existing websites to retina–ready ones (depending on your site structure, image types and browser options). We offer the best options to help your website to make the transition into a retina-ready one using the right graphics and content images.
In case making your website is on your to–do list – make sure you get one that is retina–ready!
